Dissenting Views

There was a comment left on my last post. The comment was from my youngest son...you know, the "not normal" one. As I told him when I responded to the comment, I won't block dissenting opinions as long as they are not vulgar, hateful or racist.

My son is none of those things. He is respectful and kind. He is talented and (sometimes) charming. He is a very intelligent fellow - except when it comes to politics.

Oh...I forgot Obama never lived in Kansas. He did live in Hawaii until his mother remarried to live in his new father's country home in Indonesia (I guess that was tough). He then moved back to Hawaii and attended privite school until he graduated (public schools were not good enough I suppose). No arguing that McCain's dad was an admiral, at least McCain severed this country to defend it from harm foreign and domestic. More than I can say for Obama. He would rather hang out with Jeremiah Wright, Lewis Farrakhan, and Bill Ayers. Nothing like a little terrorism and hate!

I enjoyed your political comments. My family has always been Democrats, but they have decided they do like Obama. I am very disappointed in them. I agree Obama doesn't have the experience, but we don't want the experience that McCain has. Plus, who has ever had experience being a President anyway? I think that a good President would surround themselves with experts to advise them anyway, so who cares. Obama is smart, educated and eloquent. Compared to Bush, that is quite a refreshing change. Our country cannot survive with 4 more years of Bush politics (McCain).
