I work in the beer industry. St. Patrick's Day seems to be the day for "pub crawls", green beer and Beamish/Guiness/O'Hara's. For me, it is the day for a glass of a nice white wine when I get home and that is just about it. (Actually, every day is a good day for a glass of wine when I get home!)
At any rate, I am not Irish so I do not wear green on St. Patrick's Day...and I dare anyone to pinch me!

A lot of Americans are such mongrels that we COULD be part Irish, if we only dug around in the geneology and found out! (I actually am, on one side of the family.)
